Valley Youth Basketball runs the largest recreational basketball league, for grades K-6, in Alaska with seasons held in the fall (Oct/Nov) and the spring (Apr/May) and even a winter K-2 league (Jan/Feb). Games are played on Saturdays at Grizzly Family Fitness with a short practice before each game. Volunteer coaches lead each team and handle team communication with parents
